On behalf of myself and the Governing Body, Welcome to Lacey Township and our home on the web.
Residents, newcomers and tourists interested in knowing more about Lacey Township are invited to be regular visitors to this web site. Our mission is to connect you with the information, services and people that comprise our local government and community.
Lacey Township is located right on the banks of the Barnegat Bay in the central part of New Jersey. Our community's great location and proximity to cities such as New York, Atlantic City and Philadelphia make Lacey an ideal community for families to enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of a small town and still be within a short drive to the surrounding cities.
Our community with a population of nearly 30,000 people has an outstanding school system that provides our children with an excellent, safe and well-rounded education. Lacey also has a multitude of recreational activities and sports programs available for our residents both young and old. Our parks, beaches and three beautiful lakes are the envy of many surrounding communities.
Over the past few years, we have experienced a growth in our commercial sector which now allows residents the convenience of shopping locally for just about anything!
We believe Lacey Township is the ideal community to live, work, play or just visit. So if you're a current resident, a potential visitor, or a business interested in locating in Lacey, I invite you to follow the links on this page to explore our wonderful community.
