Lacey Township, New Jersey - Facility Rentals

The Township of Lacey rents out the use of Community Hall for private parties to its residents on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. The hall is available on Friday evenings from 5PM until midnight. On Saturdays and Sundays the hall is available for two time slots: 7am to 5pm or 5pm to 12am. The cost per session is a $200.00 rental and a $200.00 refundable deposit if the hall is left in a good clean manner. If the Saturday or Sunday is available for both time sessions, the resident may rent it for the entire day for a $400.00 rental plus a $200.00 refundable deposit. To see if a date is available you can call the clerk's office at 609-693-1100, ext 2200. The dates book up quickly, we suggest you try and book your event at least 6 months in advance. Payments can be made by cash, money order or personal check from the Township resident. Payment in full must be made within two weeks of reservation.

Rental of Township Parks

The Township rents out the picnic areas of their parks for parties of 25 or more. In order to rent the park you must be a resident of Lacey Township. The parks available for rental are Hebrew Park on South Street (covered pavilion), Clune Park off of Beach Blvd., Bamber Lake Park off of Good Luck Road, and Gille Park on Manchester Avenue (covered 5,000 sq. ft. pavilion). The cost to rent the shelter/picnic area of the park at Gille, Hebrew or Clune Park is $100.00 and the rental for Bamber Lake Park is $75.00 plus a $100.00 refundable deposit. The deposit is refunded if the park is left in a good clean manner. Parties of less than 25 do not have to file for a permit. The weekends do book up quickly during the warmer months so planning in advance is suggested. To reserve a date please call the Clerk’s office at 609-693-1100, ext 2200. Cancelations: In order to receive the rental fee back due to cancelation, we must be notified within 72 hours of the event. Rental fees are not refunded due to inclement weather for park rentals.

Deposit monies are refunded by resolution of the governing body at the township meeting following your event. All refunds are mailed out the Friday following the meeting.
