TOWNSHIP LAKES AND BEACHES
Eating & drinking is not permitted on the township beaches.
The Beaches will be open on weekends with lifeguards beginning Saturday, June 14th. Beach Badges will be required starting Saturday, June 21st and should be openly displayed. Beaches will be open daily beginning on June 16th.
Beach Patrol hours are from 10AM – 5PM, Sunday through Saturday.

SWIMMING LESSON: Sign-ups for Swimming Lessons & Jr. Lifeguards will be held on May 29 & June 5, 6-9PM, in the Lacey Middle School Library, Denton Ave, Forked River. Sign ups- must be in person. Registration is limited. Swimming Lessons ages are 5-12 (must be 5 by September 30, 2007) and Jr. Lifeguards ages are 13-15.
COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE & PROOF OF RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR SWIMMING LESSONS!!
BEACH BADGES: Are available beginning June 2nd in the Recreation Office from 8:30AM-4:30PM weekdays. The Recreation Office will be open every weekend from June 21st to July 27th 11:00AM to 1:00PM for the sale of Beach Badges. The cost of a badge is $1.00 and is NOT refundable. Beach Badges are required for ages 7 and older. Proof of residency is required. (Tax bill, sewer bill, copy of deed/lease, rental agreement or drivers license)
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to be on the beach.
