Chronic Disease Screening/Prevention Services


The County is offering shingles and Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) 
immunizations, blood pressure screening services, stroke risk assessments and 
osteoporosis screening services for women.  Fees for these additional vaccinations will 
depend on the individual's insurance coverage.  Residents are encouraged to check
with their provider or they can call the OCHD Clinics Department @ ext. 7604 prior to clinic.

Flu vaccine - $20.00
Pneumonia vaccine - $20.00

Forms will be provided by the Ocean County Health Department
at the Clinic and assistance will be provided.  

(The target population for the Pneumonia vaccination is persons aged 65 & older.  
Anyone that is not in this age group must have a note from their physician prior to
the vaccination.  Anyone age 9 & older is eligible for the flu vaccination)
