Dear Applicant:
The Farmland Assessment (FA-1) is to be COMPLETED IN FULL and returned to the Tax Assessor's Office no later than August 1st. Incomplete forms will be returned and may result in a late filing, which is cause for farmland denial.
As provided under NJAC 18:15-3.4, a detailed Farm Operations Map is to be attached to your application. This map must CLEARLY and COMPLETELY show all of the property’s varied uses and areas of such work. This map may be hand sketched to scale. (An example is enclosed)
In addition, the supplement to the Farmland Assessment Form must be completed to the best of the applicant’s knowledge.
The Application of Farmland Assessment (FA-1), farm map and supplement to the Farmland Assessment Form are all required for the application to be complete. Lacking any of these documents will result in an incomplete filing.
