TOWNSHIP PROJECT
BAY FRONT PARK
The Township of Lacey held a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 10, 2017 to mark the reopening of Bayfront Park. This project was made possible through a grant from the New Jersey EDA CDBG-DR in the amount of $1,239,196.75. The grant was to restore Forked River Bay Front Park which was devastated by Superstorm Sandy in October 2012. Below is an aerial photo of the finished product.

- Two nautical age specific themed play areas

- Asphalt walking trail with benches

- Gabion basket and Reno mattress shoreline protection will be installed along the mean high water line and an asphalt walking trail with seating areas.
