The Township of Lacey has contracted with A-Academy Animal Control for our animal control needs. Residents should contact A-Academy for any issues regarding stray dogs, cats or sick or injured animals.  

Contact A-Academy during working hours from 8:00 am thru 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. 

Any indication of animal cruelty, neglect or abuse please notify the Lacey Township Police Department immediately at 1-609-693-6636. 

Any emergency after working hours please call the Lacey Township Police non-emergency at 609-693-6636.

A-Academy is not contracted to trap wildlife on a resident's property.  

Dead Animals

To report a dead animal on the roadway please call the Department of Public Works. To report a dead deer carcass please call the non-emergency Lacey Township Police Department at 609-693-6636.
