1/23/2017 - JCP&L Notice - Severe Weather Power Outages Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) is experiencing power outages due to severe weather and are assessing damage and particularly along the coast and surrounding areas. We will provide estimated restoration times when they are available. Customers who experience an outage due to the weather are asked to report it using one of the following methods: • Text OUT to 544487 • Report online at www.jcp-l.com • Use the JCP&L smartphone app (for iPhone and Android) • Call 888-LIGHTSS (888-544-4877) Customers are reminded to steer clear of downed power lines. Always assume they are live and dangerous. Downed power lines should be reported immediately to 888-LIGHTSS (888-544-4877) or your local police or fire department. Archives
