Residents who no longer wish to receive door-to-door visits from solicitors are invited to sign up for Lacey Township’s newly created “No Knock Registry.” The registry permits all residents to register with the Township Clerk indicating that they do not want hawkers, peddlers, solicitors, or canvassers to approach their homes and/or seek contact with the occupants of the registered home. There is a $5 fee for joining the registry. 

Registration can be completed through the form linked below. Residents can bring their completed form and $5 fee to the Clerk's Office during normal business hours or they can mail their completed form and $5 fee to the address below.  If a resident chooses to mail in their form with payment, they will receive the "No-Knock" window decal via mail.

The registry will be provided to any licensee who is issued a license to conduct door-to-door sales. It should be noted that registration upon the “No Knock” Registry does not prohibit door-to-door solicitation by non-profit, charitable, religious or political organizations, as these types of solicitations are protected by the First Amendment.
